To further implement the country's strategic plan for opening up to the outside world, strive to enhance the role of the service industry in further opening-up, deepen cooperation in trade in services and investment, promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and boost economic globalization towards a more open, inclusive, balanced and win-win orientation, the 2020 CIFTIS will be held in Beijing from May 28 to June 1.
The 2020 CIFTIS will adopt “1+N” (one key venue and several parallel venues) pattern in the layout of venues, with more than 200,000 square meters of exhibitions and nearly 150 meetings and negotiations. The main venue will be located in China National Convention Center, in which an international exhibition area and a frontier achievement exhibition area will be set up. It will continue to hold the CIFTIS Global Trade in Services Summit and high-level international forums, and invite domestic and foreign dignitaries, heads of international organizations and domestic and foreign trade associations, well-known experts, heads of multinational companies and other participants to further discuss global service hot issues and trends, and forge a consensus on the development of international trade in services. Additionally, it is going to set up Guest Countries of Honor and continue to hold international exhibitions and special events of overseas countries and regions. Professional exhibitions will be held around the fast-growing and emerging areas of service trade such as scientific and technological services, health services, e-commerce, sports services, environmental services, business services, cultural trade, financial services and tourism services, etc.
