Contact Mechanism at Main Commodities Markets Being Put Forward

Commodities market was s special form of commodities trading in China, which also played an important role in national economy. At present, scale, standardization and specialization and other aspects of these markets were required to promoted. In recent days, MOFCOM announced to establish a contact mechanism of commodities markets to enhance administration and instruction of markets establishment and to push standardization and sustainable development of these markets.

It was said that the mechanism mainly included the following 4 aspects:

Firstly, To establish an information exchange channel between MOFCOM and main commodities markets. On the other hand, main markets could present their cases and problems in management to MOFCOM through relative industrial association, provincial commercial department or by themselves. MOFCOM would provide national policies to the markets to strengthen policies guide, to adopt and promote better operation style and successful management experience.

Secondly, To push main contacted markets to seek for and promote new-type transaction forms to perfect corporate legal person management system and upgrade management standards.

Thirdly, To push upgrade and renovation of main markets.

Fourthly, To encourage main markets to carry out market access system under relative industrial association's organization and to perfect transaction supervision system.

Relative Principal of Department of Market System Development of MOFCOM expressed that to establish a contact system of main commodities market was favorable to drive up the whole market to play well the leading role to the market to push transaction form at commodities markets, management and system renovation, to normalize transaction rules and to promote orderly competition.
