Further to my phone discussion with you on 8th January 2004,It is our pleasure to introduce our selves, ABC group of companies. a leading business conglomerate in Sri Lanka engaged in international trading, shipping, transportation, plantations, warehousing, finance, real estate and property development. We have been steadily consolidating our position in the local market and today control 20 per cent of export / import cargo volumes through our shipping line GSA and freight forwarding arms. The company operates from its luxury multi storied office complex situated in the commercial city of Colombo backed by a professional and experienced staff of approximately 500.

We are presently looking for an internationally reputed developer / investor to finance following projects in joint collaboration with our group which have been identified as high yielding investments due to enhancing business climate prevailing in the country.


21 STORY HIGH RISE BUILDING

This will be situated in the prime location in the commercial city of Colombo facing lake view. Formally Asoka Glass Property adjoining Jetwing Building access through Nawam Mawatha and the other entrance through Wekanda Road opposite Nawaloka Hospital.

a. we will provide the land as our equity participation
b. building will consist of office space, apartments, hotels etc
c. developer will undertake finance and construction
d. each floor 13, 000 sq. ft accommodating area 10, 000 sq.ft and 3000 sq, ft for service area
e. five floors for car parking including two underground basements
f. we are willing to enter in to a buy back agreement of your shares after 15 years
g. to share the rental income on the basis of quantum of investment
h you are entitled to repatriate 100% profits and the investments to your country as this will be a BOI project.
i. land area 150 perches, almost 3/4 th of an acre.



WARE HOUSING COMPLEX / LOGISTIC CENTRE / CENTRAL FREIGHT STATION

This will be located in the commercial city of Colombo in close proximity to the Port of Colombo and will be developed to accommodate ever-increasing demand, as Colombo is soon to earn a name as the Transshipment and business hub in South Asia. This complex will be a total supply change solution provider catering to the international and local business community.

Land extent is 400 perches, equivalent to 2.5 acres and will be built up to international standard. We Invite interesting parties from overseas for the participation in this commercial venture on JV basis.

HOUSING CONSTRUCTION

The government of Sri Lanka has embarked on a major campaign to accelerate development projects and housing is one such priority where private sector participation is highly encouraged by granting various tax relief and concessions.

We are liaising with several government agencies who have offered lands for the development of lands and construction of housing units each from middle scale (comprising 50 - 100 units) to large scale (500 - 2000 units) to develop and construct houses / apartments complexes for the public and private sector employees on BOT (build, own and transfer) basis at the point of selling. Our Group is looking for international construction companies and investment companies to jointly undertake such projects with us on JV co operation.

This is a brief out line of the projects we are planning for implementation during early part of this year and would appreciate if you could kindly look in to the possibility of introducing a few international companies to ABC group for these projects yielding a higher return on your investments.
